Members of Illinois State Writing Project
are saddened by the sudden death of Dr. Maurice Scharton.

Maurice was one of the founding members of the ISWP, and along with Jan Neuleib, Maurice worked hard to share his experiences writing and teaching with Central Illinois teachers.
